Free Speech and Elections

An analysis of Trump’s record on free speech and elections shows an outstanding commitment to limited government principles. As President, Trump signed an executive order to protect free speech on college campuses, and his administration implemented a rule to protect certain tax-exempt non-profit entities from being forced to disclose their donors. Furthermore, Trump issued an executive order to require a citizenship question on the 2020 census in order to increase election integrity by ensuring proper representation in Congress.
