An analysis of Haley’s record on regulations shows a generally strong commitment to limited government principles. As Governor, Haley vetoed a number of attempts by the South Carolina legislature to grow the regulatory state. However, there were a couple areas where Haley missed the mark, most notably increasing regulations on manufactured housing and motorcycle dealers.
