Promoting Self-Sufficiency and Increasing Integrity in the SNAP Welfare Program by Strengthening Requirements that Recipients Comply with Child Support Obligations.

This bill increases the amount of bonds (debt) that local airport authorities may issue without voter approval. Under the bill, authorities may issue bonds of less than $10 million (previously $1 million) without voter approval. For bonds of $10 million or more, the bill allows the board of county commissioners to approve the bonds (previously, voter approval was required for this amount). Additionally, the bill allows the county board of commissioners to approve bonds exceeding the previous cap of 1.85% of the assessed value of taxable property in the county. Hiking Health Insurance Premiums by No Longer Providing Small Businesses a Waiver from the Autism Spectrum Disorder Coverage Mandate.

This bill extends the maximum loan repayment term for municipalities that receive a loan from the Kansas Water Pollution Control Revolving Fund from 20 years to 30 years.
