The Fitzgerald amendment #184 to the "Forced Arbitration Injustice Repeal (FAIR) Act of 2022" removes an "unfair" provision that exempted union employees from having to comply with the FAIR act, which prohibits pre-dispute arbitration agreements from being enforceable if the arbitration surrounds an employment, consumer, antitrust, or civil rights dispute. Oppose is the Limited Government Position as arbitration serves as a significantly less costly alternative to litigation and if lawmakers are going to enact such a policy - which ultimately enriches trial attorneys - then union employees should not be granted political favoritism through a special benefit not also afforded to non-union employees.

This version of the "American Relief Act, 2025" passed on December 19, 2024 and sponsored by Rep. Tom Cole (R-OK) would fund the government through March 14, 2025. The bill also includes more than $100 billion in disaster aid and $10 billion in economic aid to farmers, as well as an extension of the farm bill through Sept. 30, 2025. The bill also contains a two-year suspension of the debt limit until Jan. 30, 2027, a provision advocated by President-elect Trump. Oppose is the Limited Government Position as the debt limit serves as a critical tool to combating runaway spending and promoting implementation of fiscally sound policies such as the sequester. Van Drew (R-NJ) amendment #62 to the "Energy and Water Development and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2025" prohibits funds from being used for the Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations of the Department of Energy. The Rep. Mike Waltz (R-FL) amendment #50 to the "Servicemember Quality of Life Improvement and National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2025" would require the United States Army to establish gender-neutral fitness standards for its combat fitness test. According to the sponsor, "our enemies' bullets do not discriminate". The sponsor provided an example of a successful female service member who had to meet the standards to become an Army Ranger and "then went on to command her infantry platoon, but she now has a lower physical standard than the men she is charged to lead". Support is the Limited Government Position as physical standards and other requirements within the United States military help ensure our country maintains the most powerful and effective fighting force in the world. These standards are also critical in ensuring the proper protection for every service member and their colleagues "who have their back".
