This bill, as originally passed, required the Commonwealth Transportation Board to use up to 30% (about $8 million according to estimates in the bill's fiscal note) of the funds available to the Transit Ridership Incentive Program to improve bus passenger facility accessibility and purchase zero-emission public transportation buses and infrastructure. Oppose is the Limited Government Position as this bill designates millions of dollars for the purchase of zero-emission buses in order to advance a politized environmental agenda.
