Hiking Health Insurance Premiums by No Longer Providing Small Businesses a Waiver from the Autism Spectrum Disorder Coverage Mandate.

This bill, the Kansas Film and Digital Media Production Development Act, would provide an income tax credit, sales tax exemption, and loans and grants to incentivize film, video, and digital media production in Kansas. For bonds of $10 million or more, the bill allows the board of county commissioners to approve the bonds (previously, voter approval was required for this amount). Additionally, the bill allows the county board of commissioners to approve bonds exceeding the previous cap of 1.85% of the assessed value of taxable property in the county.
